Every club has a few kids trying to wind the away fans up, it's part of the day out. It's a fairly standard feature of a trip to Woking for example. You just have to rise above it.

We've been blessed to have gone so long without that element of fans.

Still think it is up to us to sort it.
We don't  have a fighting firm, or what you want to call it.
Banter, good humour, win or lose, pint after the game, to me that's what it's all about.
I just hope, as supporters we keep that going.
As said before in other posts, we are a friendly club.

I don't condone violence at football at all, but I think what these lads need is a few good slaps from some narky fans in the away end to make them realise that we won't back them up.

My worry is that,
some of our friendly family fans might be caught up  with this when leaving the ground.
Never to return again.
That's why,  being an old sod, stays and has  a pint.
Let the away fans go home.

I am not so sure that these locals were even at the game. None were wearing club colours.

Not wearing club colours doesn't mean they weren't there

None of the lads on the pop side that Darren mentioned were wearing colours.

Not yet been to a game where these lads have been at, but need to be careful what we wish for. Heard people drone on and on for ages about how we need more young people at the games, and then they come and people complain, can't win. whilst it sounds like they are acting stupidly and no-one condones any sort of violence, its just part of pop culture football hooliganism is very 'in' with millennials. They'll learn eventually.

I don't know a single football club who doesn't have youngsters putting v's up at other fans

I'd lump on the 2-1 Guiseley if I had significant dosh to play with.
