Why does the commentator say "Crawley 1 Altrincham 0" as though he's about to p*ss off and play a record? cock

Thats when he is joined by the main radio station and goes live to do a minute summary then back to the studio..

Neither Alty or Crawley will be near the playoffs.

Will wait for informed opinion from those that went but sounded like we didn't make much, and then didn't take any chances we did make.

A poor performance in an awful match.
I think we only had 2 half-hearted attempts on goal.
Crawley were not much better, but very cynical with their challanges.
I cant undstand why we continue to play skyball to a 5'5" forward, as the Crawley defenders just headed the ball straight back at us.
Cant judge Moyo-Modise as he only played 20mins, and didnt make any difference.
Crowd 688 including about 40 Alty behind the goal and a handful in the seats, on a bitterly cold day.
Adult price today was £10 and children £1 so a total for me and the nipper £11 where as last year they robbed me of £18

That's a fair summary.  we defended well, Smith in particular impressed.  Mid field was poor, Kearney and Danylyk didn't do anything useful so balls to senior and Denham were few and far between.  Senior spent the afternoon jumping pointlessly with a 6 ft defender getting frustrated by the end.  New lad upfront had a few good touches and skinned the full back once but pulled it back behind the 4 Alty players from inside the box.

Can't believe we scored 5 last week, we could have played all week and not scored five.

It was also absolutely freezing.
