Really think the SD team should be beating teams like the other team, if not heads should roll

Looking forward to Sunday.

Shaun’s been an Alty stalwart for many a season

Hope the fans turn out for the lad, he deserves it.

It will be great to see a few of the old firm trotting out as well.

Received my programme today and it’s superb.

I dearly wish I could be there on Sunday. It’s the sort of thing we haven’t done often enough for our long-serving greats - why did Coburn not get a testimonial for example?

The list of former players who are attending is going to make this a truly great occasion and I’d encourage anyone who can get there to make the effort.

Alas, I am unable to attend Shaun's testimonial.

However, I have still invested in a ticket and ordered a souvenir programme.

Will his dad be making a special guest appearance at left full back for the final 10 minutes?

Just wondering will there be any sort of "just giving" page for those who cannot attend. Maybe just to buy an e ticket would help. SBL

Some people are buying a ticket if they can't attend but would like to support & some people who are attending are buying a number of tickets to support Shaun's testimonial.

Ditto I’ve bought some of those KGR/Libatory beers, I know others have ordered the programme & I think all Alty fans who can afford it should do their best to chip in, even if they can’t get to the actual match.

A very enjoyable game. Stuart was definitely man of the match. Some splendid saves in a nothing game.
It was great to see the old boys back. Scott Leather still looks like a man who is in control of the situation.

It was great to be able to chat with the lads after the game
Had a good chat with Parky, Robbie Lawton, Jordon and Shaun along with a few others.

A good day out to celebrate the career of a smashing lad..

Stu's still got it, from the sounds of things!

Good to know we have another emergency backup we can rely on...

Wondering what the crowd was. I suppose it wasn't needed to be assessed. Anyway, many bought tickets even if they couldn't attend so it would be extremely difficult.

Thanks Harold. Pretty decent turn out that.

... And over four times the crowd on his debut vs vauxhall motors! 😉

I think my abiding memory of Dens flying through the air to score with a diving header at the Golf Road End will stick with me forever. Someone with a better memory than me will recall the date and opposition no doubt. There was a great framed picture of him in mid flight in the NWS capturing the moment to prove it actually happened and it wasn’t a dream. There’s an extensive list of premiership footballers who wouldn’t be capable of scoring that goal.

I suspect that the game to which you refer was the 2-2 draw against Grimsby Town on Saturday, 25th September 2010.

Alas, I've been unable to locate a link to that photograph of Shaun Densmore's dramatic last-minute equaliser.

I did stumble upon this image of the young Densmore though!

I think the pic you're referring to is the one just before the closing credits on the latest YouTube film on the testimonial?

Yep, that's the one! The keeper was Grimsby's too. Young's sponsored them I recall.
