Coming to games?
With even less away fans, it being mid Jan when people are skint and us not winning... How are we still getting 915?
-
A few southerners adopting Alty after moving to the area for work purposes ie bbc ?also a few local city and United fans who have a beer in the community hall?Had we been in this position a few seasons ago we would probably getting about 600 ish ?
-
I have said before that I feel that the new community hall has helped in attracting more families and children to the games as it's a nice place to shelter and drink etc
Also the local area Is growing all the time In population as it's so popular
We have a hard core Base who are ridiculously loyal as well
Also no doubt that the school work the club does and local teams etc is also helping
It's actually a crying shame because if our football business plan had been as good as the community one we would be smashing this leauge

And don't forget that every season ticket holder counts in the attendance whether they turn up or not. This gives a distorted figure, but I'm told it's necessary to satisfy regulations.

Bloody hell. not knocking it per se, but i bring my 11 year old to Moss Lane every time I come and the community hall is the last place i would take him. I keep him in the family section. Why would I take my kid to a room full of men queueing for a beer?

It would be interesting to know the total figure for the number of unused season tickets for the Gloucester City fixture.
Yesterday's match certainly had a sense that it was the 'shape of things to come' as regards our apparent destiny as being a member of the Evo-Stik League next season, right down to the relatively sparsely-populated CSH after the game.

what was the attendance?

996

Although that was the announced attendance in reality there were only around 600. Home end had plenty of elbow room and the main stand didn't even look half full.
-
900 to 1,000 looked about right to me. How or why is another matter.

750 at best
-
Thought it was about 1000 though seemed more school kids than normal so not sure if club had given away a fair few free tickets
-
Maybe the crowds will hold up for the rest of the season, not many home games left , not winning a home game a possibilty ?

More than a possibility, it seems a probability to me. And that is an absolute f**king disgrace.
An absolute f**king disgrace.

It's very probable we won't win another game this season, not just at home!

I agree. I just don't see us winning again until August at the earliest. It's a crock o'sh*te.
