Well I've been on the phone and assuming a Saturday fixture the weekender is on. Reminded of the Blyth weekend some years back, it snowed like hell in Newcastle on the Friday night but clear in Blyth, but sooooooo cold. My Geordie mate Dave bought a hot cooked chicken from a shop by the Haymarket which we devoured on the bus to Blyth like two complete vultures. Vaguely remember his somewhat shirty wife picking us up from Four Lane Ends Metro about midnight. Happy happy days.

well done to Gateshead, but I won't be going north of the river.  5 minutes spent in newcasle is five minutes wasted.  terrible place. it's a pit village with an attitude problem.
