It can't be that hard to look good against Arnold Town, surely?

It does make you wonder the standard of BSN, as we signed Holsgrove after a decent season at Hyde, was completely out of his depth at BSP, then went back to Hyde and sounded like he did well there.

I think he will do ok at Boston, will definately play well agaist us. But I am happy he is not an Altrincham player.

Makes you wonder about the standard of BSN footy when Boston think Holsgrove is good, as he was way out of his depth at BSP level, headless chicken with little control, but with some pace. Maybe BSN pace is slower so he got past people that he couldnt at BSP level?

I don't think it was so much a problem of whether he could get past players at BSP level, it was the fact that he had no idea of how to track back  or go with his runners or be in the right place. In that sense he was a liabilty. And when I say he could go past players I only mean more or less, obviously if he was ripping teams to shreds we'd have kept him.

Quite simply. N.Clee > K. Holsgrove every single time.

Arnold v Keith (of Scots Highland League) would be a good game! The winner to play Geoff!
