Does anyone know if the Rangers v Celtic game will be shown in the bar? If not i will have to watch it in the Station, but i would prefer to give my beer money to Altrincham.

In my experience Celtic are the lowest form of scum. I fully expect Rangers to win the game and the league. I will be doing a treble, Altrincham/Rangers/Weymouth all to win 1-0  pays £512 for a £1 stake. The Station are showing it live.

I also despise Celtic, but hats off to them - Rangers have been totally outplayed for 25 minutes.

No, they support terrorists who kill Irish people. There is no moral highground here. There are ridiculous bigots on both sides of the divide.

If you really wanted to compare the bigotry from a club perspective though, I think you'd find that Celtic were playing protestant players with little or no fuss LONG before Rangers ever fielded a catholic player (and what a fuss that caused).

Rangers fans don't like Farsley as they have the word "Celtic" in their name!

I walked into a Pub the Friday Rangers first appointed Walter as Manager to be greeted with this news by a mate of mine who is a Rangers Supporter.
He was delighted with the appointment as in his view "Walter was the right calible for the job"
I questioned this as how could someone with no football managerial experience whatsoever, be the right calibre to suddenly be promoted from a Coach of Dundee United to the position of Manager of Scotland's second top Club ?.
Answer - He's a a good lodge man (member of the Orange Lodge)
Like with most of what Rangers Supporters are about - it had very little to do with football.
