Carrier pigeons have been dispatched to ask various questions of seth warburton (kendal fanzine writer) and his hopes for his local sides forthcoming tie against Altrincham in the famous fa cup.

Lets hope they don't overtake the one dispatched with the full draw otherwise we might spoil the suprise up in Kendal.

I'd expect answers just before the coach sets off, make sure the wax seal hasn't been sabotaged by any Lancaster fans en route!

Sorry about the lack of Internet site.  We used to have a great site until this season but now have the blog at http://www.myspace.com/theblackandwhitearmy or you can use the Unibond discussion site at http://www.unibondleague.co.uk/index.php and one of us will get back to you if you need any information.

By the way, does the famous 'Looie' still go to matches?  Used to know him in the 70s and went to a few games with him in Alty's heyday.

Looie ' The Gazelle' caroll runs a pub in Wales. I last saw him at this seasons 1-1 draw away to Stafford Rangers. Still large, sweaty and rude as ever!

Chelsea..have you made a small foil FA Cup for the match yet?

Its great to see clubs like Kendal get the chance to pit themselves against the big boys.

What a hive of activity!

Obviously having no website to advertise that lovely forum of yours will hamper getting the news across to the other six!

Chelsea - I see you've been on a forum in the early hours of the morning again.  How many had you had at Witton before you left last night, mate?  However many you'd had I hope you're right about the game.

I think Alty will find that it won't be as easy as they think when they come up here.  Not sure what you guys think Unibond football is like, but I reckon you're underestimating it.  I've got a lot of time for Alty but you've not had the best of times over the last few years one way or another and shouldn't take us lightly.

We've seen enough Unibond football to last us a liftetime since 1997 and we know exactly what to expect. Also, we have already played Witton competitively this season and beat them 3-0 without breaking sweat.

In all fairness this is the FA Cup and we know you're going to throw everything you've got at us. I don't expect an easy ride but if we play to our potential we ought to win.

During our time in the Unibond we frequently encountered internet warriors just like "Chelsea". The famous "Trinity Hardman" springs to mind and "Raccyboy". Where are they now????

Given our recent dire record in the FA Cup, coupled with plenty of fairly recent memories of unhappy away days in the UniBond, I don't think any Alty fan will underestimate Kendal.

At the end of the day we are 2 divisions above you and should win.  If we don't knock you out, we've nobody to blame but ourselves.
