He looked shattered after two runs. Was switched to the left. Not the right build for those conditions last night and lacked match practise. Should have been subbed after 30 minutes. Pitch is not going to be any better on saturday.

It's an unfortunate fact that most loans are set up with a view to the player getting match fit or game experience, rarely is it purely for the benefit of the host club. Some can work out great, Ryan Shotton anyone, however I often think the short term ones only work for the player or his own club.

Hope he plays better than in the first two games I have seen. Hopefully Lee and Co know what they are doing.

Think he started to show glimpses of what he can do in the 1st half against Telford. Was taking the man on and got past a few times,but didn't produce the final ball. Hopefully properly up and running on Saturday.
