FROM THE CLUB WEBSITE
Altrincham FC is pleased to announce the loan signing, late this morning, of Dylan Mottley-Henry from Bradford City FC. Chairman Grahame Rowley says that "In order for Dylan to be eligible for any prospective game against Bognor Regis Town on Tuesday, he needed to be signed by 12 noon today. So, with a great rush, we managed it with five minutes to spare! Although the signing of Dylan Mottley-Henry on loan from Bradford City FC was leaked via social media yesterday, Altrincham Football Club will not announce new signings until all the paperwork has been completed and acceptance by the FA and the relevant leagues has been received". That process has now been completed and hence today's announcement.
Dylan was born on 2 August 1997 and is a right-winger for Bradford City, for whom he originally played at youth level. He graduated to the first team squad late in 2014 and made his first-team debut on 6 April 2015 as a Football League substitute. He signed a professional contract with City in May 2015.

I'm presuming one of these kids is quite versatile because we can't play them both on the right wing and Id imagine neither Burnley or Bradford will want their player sat on the bench!

Not to mention where Ryan Crowther fits in.
-
Crowther will play on his preferred lw (as and when 100% fit)
-
Ludicrous, I for one have been perectly happy to play 442 or 451 without a right winger for the past 3 years, it has meant that most of the play has been infront of us down the left as clee has skipped past players. How are we supposed to see when attacking will be so far away from us. Has anyone considered how the strikers are going to cope with crosses coming from both sides.
-
I might have to change the side on which I stand if it's all going to be coming down the right wing from now on.

Agreed the singers should be allowed in the family stand for the second half

Is it true that Dylan signed for Alty after knockin' on Havern's door?
-
How long is he on loan for?
We seem to have missed that out in the mad scramble to explain why twitter got the better of us in the exclusive.

He did. He was in two minds about whether to sign, until Luca told him "Don't think twice, it's alright"

1 month, initially.
The twitter message(s) were not exclusives, as the signing had not been completed, therefore there was nothing to communicate via the club's official channels, until this afternoon.

So, we are now hoping 2 x 18 year olds will help us preserve our National League status. FFS. ::) ::)

I imagine there's also some expectation on the rest of the squad to do a bit as well.

Are we now scouring the country in search of another new loan signing by the name of Dick Dastardly?
-
And Zebedee, Dougal and Bryan
-
Surely we've already had Brian the Smikle - I mean Snail - a year or two back ...
