a modest, restrained, thoughtful chap like Steve Evans would have a "We should be beating teams like this moment?"

It's to be expected from a small minded, bent bast*rd like Evans! What is ammusing is the amount of team who have said that, for it to later back fire on them. I recall Barrow saying it when they beat us 4-3, they are not laughing now! Maybe next year teams will finally realise we are a hard working outfit, who should not be underestimated.

To be honest i quite like teams underestimating us, it works in our favour and long may it continue after some of our results such as the draw against wrexham and the win against mansfield at home this season. It just shows how great this league is, the fact that alty can beat mansfield yet get battered to forest green.

if you havent seen

well i suppose they could point at doncaster?
why would they think you could succesfully run a championship team on 8000 gates? that would make them bottom of the attendance table with only blackpool anywhere near them
