Allison Lewis has stepped forward and agreed to be the clubs new volunteer Safety officer
I hope you will give her the same support and respect i received.
For those who don't know Allison she has been at the club longer than i have and has been a steward most of the
time and has valuable experience and the last couple of years has been an Assistant chief steward.
I wish Allison well and know she will do a great job for the club.

Altrincham FC First Team / Au revoir
« on: June 01, 2011, 06:53:11 PM »
Today after 17 years on the safety team i have informed Grahame Rowley that as from the 7 June
after the next stewards Nvq training session I am stepping down as Safety officer of the club.
This has not been an easy decision to make but I feel its the right one as I can no longer afford to commit the time.
I would like thank all those that have that have worked with me and helped me over past 17 years and a special mention
to Tony Dunkerley and Telford college for they continued training.
My last thank you is to all you supporters who have made the job easier with not having to worry about your
behaviour.
I hope who ever is appointed the next Safety officer of Altrincham fc that you would all give your continued support.
I would still like to help out on match days where possible.
Thank you is been a honour and a  pleasure all the best

Altrincham FC First Team / CLUB APPOINTMENTS
« on: June 01, 2011, 06:42:01 PM »
CLUB APPOINTMENTS
Following last week's arrival of Lee Sinnott as Altrincham FC's new manager, the Club is very pleased to announce the following appointments...
The new Assistant Manager is Neil Tolson (37), who was manager of Hyde United, (now Hyde FC), till April 2011. Neil had joined The Tigers as a player in 2003 before becoming assistant manager in 2007 and then player-manager in September, 2008.

Like Lee Sinnott, Neil was born in Walsall. As a player Neil was a striker, who topped York City's goalscoring chart for 1996–97. In non-League he has played for Leigh RMI, whom he left in January 2003 before signing for Kettering Town, but he moved on to Halifax Town shortly afterwards. He therefore brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge of the Blue Square Bet North division.

Altrincham FC is also pleased to announce that Ian Senior has been appointed as a coach, having been Alty's goalkeeping coach for several seasons.

John Skelhorn is confirmed as the Kit Manager though, as the successful manager of the Altrincham FC StTaff XI in their annual matches against the Supporters for the past two seasons, John will no doubt also offer his expertise to the coaching team!

A physiotherapist is expected to be announced shortly, with news of players being scheduled for Friday, so watch this space...

Help Altrincham stay in the Blue Square Bet Premier
10:14am Wednesday 27th April 2011

CHAIRMAN Grahame Rowley has called on fans of all persuasions to unite behind the common cause of helping Altrincham stay in the Blue Square Bet Premier at Moss Lane on Saturday.

With Manchester United and Manchester City both playing on Sunday, Alty are offering £5 admission to League club season-ticket holders for the 5.15pm kick-off against Eastbourne Borough.

In a further attempt to bolster numbers for the final game of the campaign, with Alty needing a win to have any chance of staying up, hundreds of free tickets have been distributed to local schools.

“The scheme is primarily aimed at United and City fans, because their teams are playing the following day, but any League club season-ticket holders can come in for £5, on production of their ticket at turnstiles five or six,” said Rowley.

“We have been going round local schools, handing out free tickets, as well, and any schools that want more can still contact the club on 928 1045.

“Our biggest gate of the season was 1,928 against Wrexham on New Year’s Day. It would be great to beat that and top 2,000, with everyone getting behind the team and hopefully helping them recreate Monday’s outstanding performance at Grimsby.”

A second-half winner by Marc Joseph at Blundell Park ensured survival hopes stayed alive, with Alty now needing a win for themselves and defeat for two of the three teams above them, Southport, Tamworth and Forest Green.

“One of the things I told the lads before kick-off was that I didn’t want to be turning up at Moss Lane on Saturday already relegated,’ said manager Ken McKenna.

“I stressed that we had to give our fans some hope for the final day, and thankfully that happened.

“It was an excellent response to what was a sub-standard performance against Newport last Saturday. It was high tempo, but with 100 per cent concentration at the back, good discipline and instructions followed to the letter. We need to replicate that against Eastbourne.”

Keeper Stuart Coburn and midfielder Steve Connors are both extremely doubtful.
