I read around Christmas time, he was being looked at by Peterborough - and if memory serves - went on a brief trial with them.

Alty would be a very useful platform for him, what with the media coverage of the BSP and with him being a local lad - could do a lot worse than us, but didn't we say that about Liam Brownhill?

Sounds interesting, although didn't Dale score an incredible number of goals at Hyde before coming here and netting five all season? Not knocking Dale, he's been the target man we needed, but goals at that level are far easier to come by.
