Don't think I've seen as poor 45 minutes of football as the first half. Both teams looking to break through but no final balls!!!

As the goals were going in at the other end, was difficult to see who scored. At one point the list was Brooke, Watmore and Clee!! Their 2nd did go over the line, wasn't sure at the time, but the fact we had 4 or 5 opportunities to clear before the clearance on the line annoyed me!! Densmore was fantastic today, my MOTM, closed them down well and played good balls out.

Table makes better reading now. Massive game next week, could also do our first double of the season, against a team we got nothing against last season.

Its great that brooke has turned up, feel we need a darren tinson type leader in defence to mount any form of chellenge this season though.

Two away wins at Boston is no mean feat. They remain the only team to have beaten Chester this season.
Hope this isn't another false dawn.

It was a good win but boston are very low on  confidence , we still need to get a couple of new faces in and rodgers and lawrie back from injury.

Boston were one of the worst sides I seen this season

Also the only team to lose to Hinckley

So don't get carried away

The phrase 'Hope this isn't another false dawn' doesn't really indicate that I am getting carried away!!

The fact that your thinking it isn't another false dawn, suggests your getting carried away

Also winning at Boston is nothing special, indeed it par for a mid table team, they lost six games at home including to Hinckley

Comes to something when away wins at teams above you can't be celebrated though.

Its like the David Birch mentality....."we might have won this but we'll lose next week though...."

Went to Boston for third time this year yesterday and thought this was the best performance of the three. Brooke was good up front and linked well with Duncan. Damian took his goals well. Nicky's goal was excellent and he nearly scored again after great one two with Duncan. Everyone was solid, including Lacey and Mitchley who helped see the game out. We hit the bar twice to their once. Their second goal was not over the line. And it was cold and blustery on slippy and bobbly pitch, the sort of place we often lose. A good days work - and one which used the squad - now for more of the same at home, which is where the form is less good.

Probably do so well away because quality wingers and counter attack and do bad at home because at home emphasis on us to attack and we get caught because defence a tad slow it's frustrating I believe we can become playoff side just not sure we will
