Barrow Strengthen before tuesday
« on: November 27, 2009, 01:39:17 PM »

from bbc:-
Blue Square Premier side Barrow have signed a trio of players ahead of Saturday's FA Cup second round tie with Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.

Chester striker Gregg Blundell joins on a loan until January, with a view to a permanent move.

Meanwhile Carlisle midfielder Gavin Rothery follows team-mate Andy Cook in gaining a month of first-team experience at Holker Street.

Burton winger Marc Goodfellow, once of Stoke, also joins until January.

Meh, useful players, but if we concentrate on our own game and get that right we'll have a great chance of turning them over.

I'm assuming Logan will get a start and be trying desperately hard  ::)

Hopefully those players will take at least 1 game to get used to the rest of the team. Prediction: Alty-3 Barrow-1.

As Logan hasn't been starting of late, I don't see him getting in ahead of Goodfellow.

A Barrovian take on Carlos Logan:-

"I don't think Carlos Logan can complain if he gets booed-until he start putting in some better performances. He shows no effort for the majority of the time and I wouldn't mind as much if he was one of those 'luxury players', that don't work hard but have a bit of quality ie.Paul Brown last season. Logan though has neither ability or the attitude and seems to think he is far better than he really is. Bayliss' comments about him 'being like Ronaldo in training' weren't far wrong if he meant the Brazilian one..."

He's reverted to type then  :D
