From the official site:-
Tamworth boss Mark Cooper will plead with Conference officials to allow him to make at least one emergency loan signing after seeing his squad drastically reduced this week. The Lambs are reeling from the departure of Tom Kemp, whose loan from Lincoln ended this week. And with Bradley Thomas and Gavin McAllum back at Yeovil Town, Cooper's squad is down to the bare bones ahead of Saturday's home clash with Woking. 'We're in talks with the Conference to see if we can bring in an emergency loan', said Cooper. 'I don't think it's too much to ask for one new player when you have lost three'
or:
We didn't prepare properly at the start of the season and now 3 players who belong to someone else have gone back I want special treatment.
Cheeky, incompetent or just a prat?

All three??
-
I'm just surprised that he hasn't threatened legal action over it yet!
-
Aren't they full time ? So therefore have a youth team to get players from, or local football.
Why whould they be allowed emergency signings ? Rules ARE Rules remember ?
This Should Not Be Allowed to be done. His own fault for only having loan players and not contracted ones. Trying to save money that has now put him in the sh*t.
Very annoyed if this is allowed to happen.

To be fair to Tamworth I am pretty certain they are part time. Still, as you say there are no limits to just how stupid Cooper can be every time he opens his mouth. A complete prat, the sooner he gets sacked the better.

I know there was talk of them going semi full time, I love that idea so mad but I think you are right. Don't think they bothered.
Either way you should be able to field a team at this level without having to get loan players. How many players did we have a out a couple of months ago and we managed it. He's only moaning about 3 for gods sake.
Maybe he should look at his own abaility as a manager if he can't field a team.

I think the Tamworth board have had a few very close looks at his ability as a manager ;) I'm sure beating their local rivals in the cup last week has bought him some more time for now anyway. I still take them for one of the 4 relegation spots at the end of the season.

I sincerely hope so - along with FGR, Southport and A N Other (i.e. Not us!)

I bet Peake is hoping he tries it so he has another get out of jail free card for the end of the season. Not that it will help as I expect both these two muppets to be in bottom four come May
