What a bunch of nobbers, football fans never cease to amaze me how thick they are!

A really top-notch effort from the boys yesterday. What's really struck me is how few defensive mistakes we make these days. A couple of seasons back we averaged about one defensive howler per game but this season we've only conceded a handful of really poor, easily avoidable goals.

And when we don't make any mistakes at the back, it's remarkable how few teams in this league are good enough to break us down.

Coburn made a couple of excellent saves, the back five looked really solid and composed, the four in front worked their socks off and Senior/Denham/Little all made a nuisance of themselves up front.

All in all, an excellent away day. Beautiful afternoon too. Lovely.

Agreed Leon, when you think back only a season or two to some real schoolboy mistakes, remember the fancy dancin at left back at Ebbsfleet when a row Z would have done?

I think it is hilarious when they get shirty about us defending; they are full time professionals and can't open us up. Which team is not performing?

To be fair there were a couple of young lads in front of us trying to start a few songs.....one time no-one joined in but the lad bravely soldiered on and gave a vituose solo....good on him!

I had no voice on Sunday so Rosie and I certaily did our job and I believe at points during the match we could be heard at the other end of the ground.. which is a credit to all singers...

The singing was excellent lads......I clocked a couple of reporters in the Press Box curiously looking over at our supporters when you were belting out the chants!

With the singing I would say that the lovely sunny afternoon with two sides with nothing to play for kind of induced that lazy, end of season vibe. It was never going to be a crackling atmosphere.
