3-4-3 Formation

Think its time to ditch this formation as it only ever really worked with pace in the front line, Senior/Elam. I think the way forward for the remaining games is a back 4 of Smith, McGregor, Young & Doughty. Midfield 4 depending on fitness, preferably with Denham/Senior on the wings with Johnson & Little upfront. We can have Welch to come on upfront if needed or maybe play him in centre midfield to give us some height. What do others think? 3 or 4 more points needed for safety, lets hope we get them in the next 2 games.

You say that 3 4 3 should be ditched because it only ever worked with pace in the side yet your prefered 4 4 2 formation includes Senior and Denham on the wings. Surely that would mean we'd have the pace back in the side and 3 4 3 would be the way forward?

What I said was 4 at the back and wingers, which would supply the crosses for the 2 forwards. Anyway with Senior & Denham injured its not going to happen. Not quite the same with Peyton & Lane on the wings!
