Encouraging news??
« on: March 21, 2012, 02:49:43 PM »

Let's hope this convinces united reserves to stay at moss lane, and shame on Trafford council for effectively letting one of its major sports clubs die.A sports village housing Sale Sharks and Altrincham FC should have been built on broadheath years ago, scandalous. Most local authorities would kill for a premiership rugby team.

I like the word likely

"Sale Sharks’ likely move from their current antiquated Edgeley Park ground to the new £26m City of Salford Stadium"

As you say could be good news for us.

As an ex Sale player, albeit at a lower level than the Sharks, the local link went with the move from Heywood Road.
As socrates says the failure of the broad heath idea was abysmal, and Trafford also lost Sale Harriers.
I suppose the two Old Traffords is all they can cope with  >:(
