Hasn't been 7 days as far as I can see

Even if 7 days get put in on a player, I very much doubt it gets announced 7 days after due to paperwork to be signed, contract agreements. Also Matt said in his interview that one player is attracted attention from elsewhere, so we may have to wait a little for a decision.

I think you give the players current club seven days notice of approach. If that was done last Tuesday, then today is the earliest you could officially speak to the player
