Got to presume that today was one of those "one last look at the trialist we are unsure about" type games.Hopefully tuesday will see us line up with somthing heading towards a starting 11.I personally have been disapointed by the trialists this summer so far, even those with some pedigree.Lets hope we see a different mindset from tuesday as we will be playing at moss lane against clubs of a comparable level like macclesfield and some higher opposition in the further 3 friendlies...

Not a very good showing at all, and precious few positives.

Of the triallists, only Joseph would strike me as a "must have" player. McLachlan probably wants bigger wages than we'd offer, and he's not THAT outstanding. Nowland could be worth a punt.

Danny Adams still looks decent when in possession, but I'd be worried about him up against some of the quicker players in BSP.

HOWEVER...........................Dale looked sharp and well up for it !

Can't quite get over the fact that David Birch was captaining Curzon - and looked a half decent player.
