My dad used to say: you're a football fan when you tear up your season ticket and swear never to return, but you're back again the next week.

Fergie's first managerial job was at East Stirlingshire, who at the time had eight registered players and were the worst senior club in the country. In 4 months Fergie revolutionised the club and pushed them to the top of the table. He started at grassroots and only moved up because he was a success there.

Trafford General should be popular (me and my brother were born there 3 years apart, yet our passports record different towns of birth  ???)

Love Col but saying he will play home games and when needed would not pass on good feelins to the rest of the squad in my opinion, esp the person that is being left out from week to week ?

Is the signing of Col really for Col to play regularly, or a scare tactic to make the front line fight for their place?

Joseph looks like he didn't know where he was playing, he was never covering the left wing, it wasn't like watching a typical bad player, he just seemed confused.

McCarthy seems to be a good attacker, but not a goalscorer.

IIRC it was Col's decision. Presumably he wanted to go out on a high with Alty rather than not train, end up unfit and fizzle out as a bench warmer.

None of the current starters are good enough leaders to be captain, something in great evidence today. Last season I wanted Lawton dropped, but it looks like we need him

Not meaning to defend Money, but the root cause of this incident was the unacceptable behaviour from a parent in front of their own child? Fine example.
I note this 'Fan' doesnt answer Money's question explaining what he actually does know about football.
Its too frequent on Conference terraces for some fans to insist they are the centre of attraction by showing their loud vocals dont engage with their brain.

Yelling back in a jokey way "what do you know about football?", would have been fair game, marching onto the terraces and grabbing hold of him was way out of proportion and not called for. That said I do take your point, there are some tools on the terraces.

John  Laidlar's updates are fine for me. At least I know they're true.

The BBC already 20 mins behind the action!

An improvement on being bang on time with incorrect action.

22 mins: Kroca heads Luton 1-0 up after overhit corner nodded back into centre

Vics drop to 58th if you do points per game. Colchester lead by that metric, followed by Darlington and Luton, the only teams to average two or more points per game.

Lincoln are the only team to manage more than two goals per game on average, and redditch and Lewes the only with fewer than a goal per game. Perhaps I need to get out more? :P

And by the way am not one of these pple that causes sh*t on the message boards.

Word is troll.

And you'd hope it'd be a decent one, though I get the feeling it may be two teams of triallists.
