Why wasn't he in the squad yesterday?

Is he injured?  If so what's wrong?

He was due to start but was pulled out at the last minute. Probably injured in the warm up and although named on the bench, he was never going to take part in any of the game. Hopefully just a precaution but as there was no physio at the game I doubt the extent of the injury is known yet. To  be fair he has played a lot of our pre-season games so maybe just a knock...I think he's been one of the most impressive signings and desperately hope we can keep him fit.

He is definately crucial for us as he gives us a different outlet for Little, Senior, Denham to work off, however I remember Droylsden fans saying when we signed him that he was very injury prone.

I just hope we can get him fit too.

I think it was the Hyde fans that said he was injury prone. Even though I think he did have fitness problems when he was on loan at Droylsden their fans seemed to rate him highly and its easy to see why.
