York away in the cup

Possibly one of the worst draws… however, York away! What a weekend that will be! We going on the coach again?

That's a tough one. Won't we be playing them there twice in a week? Strategies and tactics will certainly be to the fore with that.

We can do it!

Come on you Super Robins 👍 🇦🇹 🏆

Could have been worse but could have been better. It's doable both travel wise and result wise but not the same in the new stadium.

They won't fancy us as much as we don't fancy them.

Could do with playing them sooner rather than later; lost the last four on the bounce and I'm sure they'll find some form before then.

Will be a great occasion regardless in a great city.

And, probably, a new manager.

They all want Askey back, but hopefully the management will be too stubborn to admit their previous mistake and go for someone else totally out of their depth.

From what I have heard about the club, I very much doubt that John Askey would contemplate returning to work for that utter crackpot of a chairman/owner.

A great venue for sure and a nice day out.

On paper, it was one of the worst draws for our largely new team, but as others have said, they're playing poorly at the moment. They will start as favourites due to being at home.

Agree with all this. If we weren’t getting Farsley this or Halifax would have been the best away days. Easy do on the train from anywhere, great pubs but obviously a cab or shuttle bus to the ground not quite the same as the walk to BC. Both sides will fancy their chances.

They 2 key points are we avoided Barnet who on current form are the strongest side and the players have the best part of a month to gel. As tough as Saturday was, in a way it was an ideal result in that it wasn't our football that got us through, it was hard work and a bit of good fortune. You can't win anything without those.
