We should give County the Chequers end and half the pop side and erect some new temporary barriers just under the gantry.

Use the third quarter as a sterile area and then leave a quarter for any home fans who want to stand down the side.

That would give them space for 2000+.

Let's accept that County will have more there than us, if we let them.  Should we let them? Yes. Income and that is the correct thing to do from a security point of view.

Next, what's reasonable?  Seating - the family stand. Standing I can't see what's wrong with Markecky suggestions.

How? There is potential for a bit of aggro, whether it's all ticket or not. I don't think making it all ticket will make that much difference to County getting on the Golf Road.  If County sell out it's only a hop, skip and a jump to Moss Lane to buy tickets for our section. Good stewarding, with Countys help, plus a police presence should suffice.

I'm sure the club will have as many police as advised to, doubt they will be needed if there from the start

Macc and Wigan sometimes got as many as 7,000 in the sixtes

highest since the advent of APL/Conf against Barnet, officially 3,000, unofficially about 4,500

Would of loved to see Moss Lane that full, if we got a big cup tie or title game here i think a capping of around 4500 would be put in place.

Stockport will bring 2000 definitely. Look what they took to Kidderminster over 2 hours away last season. Fans were locked out and a few coaches turned away. They took over 2000 to Macc and with this being our first ever league meeting I think a lot will want to come.
We should be attracting 1200 of our own fans too. Maybe the club should try and cash in and reduce tickets for all, £8 to get in and £1 for kids

We'd be better off charging £8 against Histon on a Tuesday tonight, the gate against Stockport will be larger than normal regardless, first Saturday home game, local game against a side weve not played in a league game before, large away following, neutral interest with united and city not playing that day.

..

Why on earth would it, the ground's safety certificate allows 6085? Prior to the Taylor Report it held around 10,000 before the terraces had barriers. We had nearly 8,000 in against Orient in around 1980, plenty late 70s cup ties were 5000+. The ground is much more up to date and safer now.
