Blimey just noticed bilbao, valencia, ath madrid, barca and real madrid still in europe at semi final stages, surely the most dominated european campaign by one countries teams ever??

The camp nou is a much bigger pitch, which allows barca to play football the way it should be played, the reason why u think they are boring is the same reason why england are sh*te

7 feet longer and 2 feet wider? Massive difference!

do u actually realise what a huge differance that makes over 90 minutes at that level against barca? This is why we are sh*te in europe, clueless

I have vague memories of City changing the dimensions of the Maine Road pitch to put off the opposition in a European game,
or is it just that my memory is becoming unreliably selective

Or both  ;)

I remember Rangers doing it in a European tie.
Probably the last time they were on the straight and narrow!

I wouldn't think an extra 2 feet of width would make any difference, 2 yards possibly, and the higher the standard of football the greater the fitness of the players thus making the advantage even less telling. As we saw on Wednesday, and in Inter's victory over Barca the width is irrelevant if you play  4-5-1 against a team with no natural wide men. Great to watch if you love the art of defending but admittedly not a lot of fun for people who just want to see loads of goals. I wonder if Mr Sinnott was watching?

I'm not sure what bearing pitch dimensions have on English teams being sh*it in Europe either. Maybe I'm clueless too.

Oh Jesus, Chelsea's back 4 are going to fall apart because they have an extra 25cm width] each to deal with!

Just amended it to make it slightly easier to understand

If  they get at the back four, it's 20cm each for the middle 5. ;D

Your maths is obviously as good as your grammar.

To help you out: 4 x 25 = 100 and there are 100 cm in 1 m

You still seem to be struggling. Four defenders each have an extra 25cm to cover making a total of the 1m you have said.
