Could be the end of Vics ...depending on how appendix e is implemented next year they may be in the same place at end of next season and get dumped down even further the pyramid. If they decide not to go into admin then they would have to reform and be start again in NWCL level.
If FGR are 1.5 million pounds in debt then they are toast. They dont have the support base to cover that sort of debt they will have to be part time and pay peanuts . Admin then appendix e to kick in and then they will be back in some extremely tinpot league in the country....
Vics are now under the membership rules of the Evostick (unibond) premier, who have different rules and regulations to the conference. Further, it is only the conference that demand all debt is paid back by the end of the season. League clubs rejected a similar proposal at their lastest AGM.
Northwich do already have some tinpot fixtures next season. Some outfit called FCUM, whoever they are??
Though i dont condone any club paying above their means, and using a CVA to pay back less than they have used up. i feel the punishment dished out is disproportionate. I applaud the conference for ensuring all debts are paid back but what happens if some club is forced into administration over £1000, are they then thrown out if it isnt paid by the end of the season? What happens if the insolvancy event happens a few days before the deadline? why not allow clubs to pay instalments for the full amount? simply throwing a club out of the league does not help them at all. These clubs lose further sponsorship, have lower attandaces, and thus lower income to fund the same amount of debt. Surely the conferene should be helping the lost sheep back into fold, rather then taking them to the nearest slaugter house.
Then again vics are looking to go on a costly court venture, when they should be paying back their debts.
