Looks like Vics being outplayed. Could yet be relegation fodder!

We would still be 4 points ahead of Cambridge, with a game in hand.  8)

Vics will start to feel the pinch of all the games they have to play soon - this could be the start of a tough run in for them. As long as we keep winning it doesn't matter what anyone else does and it is nice not to be hoping for other results to go our way so much now.

I think 2 more wins will be enough, especially if one comes against Stafford.

My opinion is the last thing we need is Cambridge to get some confidence. i know Vics have a lot of games to play in a short time but they do have the knack of getting results so I think they will be safe (and if we stay up I hope they do with us)

Famous last words time but I believe St Albans and Southport WILL NOT finish ahead of us so that leaves 2 places in relegation to worry about. of course if both those teams go on a run like we are on at the moment then who knows  ???

if Cambridge lose this then they are a step closer to joining Southport and St albans in teams that I think won't finish above us and thats better than dragging Vics into it.

Do the Vics have the squad to cope with the fixture congestion they must now have?

Of all the teams at the bottom, Cambridge are least harmful to us when picking up points.  The more teams that have a chance of survival, the harder each team will battle - and the more knackered they will become towards the end of the season.  Bottom teams to take points off each other - but get tonked by teams at the top.

After thinking about it I suppose we could just keep winning and it doesn't matter anyway

That's the best option - to not even be concerned about anyone else's results.

Look who Northwich have left to play - both at the bottom and the top.  I think the games in hand could work against them to be honest, and today's result won't have done anything for confidence.

All those games in hand for Vics.  As part timers we are knackered playing twice a week.  They are going to be seriously stretched.  Makes the argument about whether we should have gone on a cup run seen redundant.  We definitely couldn't have stood it.
