Don't hold your breath. It is always delayed and I wouldn't expect to see anything before the last week of June at the earliest.

Thats if the clever chap at Conference HQ pushes 'ENTER' on the keyboard....

Then the fun and games start, still reckon we'll end up with Barrow away and somewhere else rediculous mid Sept/Oct on a Tues night  ???

I suppose if you look at it from Barrow's point of view we are about the best team for them to play midweek from a point of view of distance travelled.

Would suspect that Barrow will be our Boxing Day/New Years Day double header as I suspect Northwich will be visting Wrexham.

I doubt we will go to Barrow for Christmas and new year, I think that York will, and we will entertain Vics in the double header. Leaving Wrexham to play Kiddy. Burton V Mansfield, Oxford V Stevenage and then FGR V salisbury, and the rest sort themselves out fairly easily.

Maybe this could be another fundraiser. Guess the first fixture. Pay £5 per prediction, 46 possible options, ie: each of the other 23 teams home or away =£230 in the kitty. £100 goes to the club, £100 goes to the winner, £30 to whoever guesses the right team but the wrong venue.

Thats a great idea, I'd have a go !

Was anything mentioned in the AGM about fixtures being released?

I guess we'll wait until after tomorrows appeal, then they fire up the spectrum zx and load the tape deck fixture list emulator.

Its playing havoc with my travel plans all this waiting, easyjet keep banging up prices!

We have been to Barrow over Christmas in the past (in the Conference) - 1981 (I think): Boxing Day away Bangor City 5-4 win, 27 December away Barrow 4-0 win.

Just on the subject of fixtures this season, Boxing Day is a Friday this year. With regards to the 'derbies' around that period any one know if we're likely to play Friday & then midweek or, paly the Boxing Day game on the Saturday?

I would prefer to start against mansfield or wrexham and play one of the weaker teams later on let them get the enthusiasm out of their system
