Intresting reading
-
two comments:
1) Their Net worth would worry me a little bit at -£4m - there is a big liability somewhere
2) I doubt their turnover is £64bn per annum - this would make them the 96th biggest company in the world - roughly the same size as SAB Milller (Fosters, Grolsch, Milllers, Peroni) and Daimler (Mainly Mercedes but also Smart, Mitsubishi and Maybach). This makes them roughly 100 times bigger than the next biggest sports brand - Real Madrid. Currently £64bn turnover would be bigger than every Premier League club, every La Liga club and every Serie A club added togther by a factor of 3. No wonder Stuart Fleetwood has rejoined!

re: the £64bn turnover - I have to admit I made the same assumption on first reading - if you look closer, that bit's just a working example to advertise the website!

well spotted
That notwithstanding, the inexorable rise in their liabilities should be deeply worrying for them.

Director's loan
Which is fine until he falls out with people and calls it back in. I won't shed a tear.

Why use that as an "example"? Surely similar figures to those in real life would be more suitable?!

To be fair, there could be all sorts of clauses and conditions attached to the debt. Unless you know the exact details you can't read too much into it.
We had a huge debt for years but it only ever came into play if we moved ground. It still showed on the figures though. Instead we were damaged by the smaller debts which needed repaying.

On my company health system, FGR get a health score of 1 out of 100

Arsed about Forest Green
You wouldn't be if we finished below them in 6th just before their pretty balloon went pop big style ;D

would never want another club to go bust but would love to see FGR finish in the play offs yet demoted to below the conf N for financial irregularities.
for the good of the game naturally...

I always say I'd never want a club to go bust.....but I could make an exception for this lot. And Accrington.
