Phil Parkinson's thoughts on the Spennymoor game, and an injury update, are on the club website now.

Thanks John, I understand what he is saying, the first 45 was very good, the last 15 terrible. Agreed we need to keep our style but we ran out of ideas last night
-
I agree with a lot of what he said, but if he thinks Johnson was a threat all evening one of us needs glasses.

And being the better side in the first half...

We were.

We were only the best side until they scored - so not strictly correct, though I'm being somewhat pedantic.

Think you need to read between the lines on Parky interview. He said of JJ he looked a threat, which is different to being a threat. He knows all is not rosie and like others hope he raising plans for next season now for reinforcements with an option for a plan B in games.
They are still new to management and hopefully learning.
Keep the faith.

I have total faith in Sorvs and Parky . However I feel they will need a bigger budget next year to push on

My faith is solid, but 'new to management'?

Agreed, 4 years is hardly novice material but in fairness to PP this is his first season managing at this level so plenty of learns and lessons for him I am sure. He has done a good job so far in my view.

My concern is that he knew who was capable of what in the glue league but now we have moved up a step his knowledge is not as good. I'm not knocking him. Any manager that has gained promotion is in the same situation. Having said that if we are a season behind Spennymoor I'll take that.
-
Did people say this season mid table and consolidate? We are in the play offs and people are bashing PP. Crikey, imagine if we were mid table and consolidating.
-
I thought most people here are on the thread are supporting him . That's how I read it anyway . Not really seen any bashing as such
