UNCERTAINTY AT GRAYS

Grays Athletic announce that "Following yesterday‘s announcement Grays Athletic Owner/Chairman/Manager, Mick Woodward, has taken the decision to stand down from his position and place the club up for sale, the team will continue to fulfil their remaining fixtures. More news when available".

Not a bad idea?............. how much would it be to buy Alty?

Why is that such a bad idea replacing the manager and  'main' backer.  The club needs more investment to survive in the BSP and the current hierarchy are unwilling to put any money into the club by their own admission, so how is finding someone who is willing to invest a bad idea?

Beacuse no-one else will. Before Woodward and his cash turned up Grays were nothing. Despite all the money he has pumped in they are still a lower mid table conference side. The level of interest with the locals as anyone who has seen us play at Grays could also tell you is minimal, it's West Ham country and to be blunt no-one is really arsed round there. This will likely spell big trouble for them.

I couldn't work out what you meant.  I am pretty sure the club is open to new investment though.

For me off the pitch we have never been stronger.

On the pitch there is nothing at the moment.

Its a fair point but I think Altys aim should be at the very least  BSP standard, but we seem to be aiming for and fast heading towards the BSN.

We're not doing badly due to our infrastructure.
