Nice one, I didn't notice the elbow during the game so it's good to see it again

Love the fact that the next video that comes up for viewing on youtube is kung-fu training...how appropriate

hmmmm....I've got to say that didn't look like a clear elbow, more a case of Clee running into a shielding arm...I suspect if southport see this video they may use it in the case to get the red card struck off.....the port player did move his arm but not for me in an intentional motion to hurt more to shield and for balance??

He looked behind him to see where Clee stepped back and raised his arms hit Clee in the face = red card for me.

Have to agree, it looks a soft red to me.
I would be upset if any of our players were red carded for that.

On the night it happened right in front of me & I thought
it was a clear elbow but having seen it several times now,
I really don't think that it was a clear elbow. If it was an Alty
player,I would be hoping that we would win any appeal.I
have not seen any opinions of Mr.Joyce's overall performance
on the night from Phil, our refereeing guide, just wondered what
his thoughts are.

Which arm was it that caught clee? Due to his positioning, it might have been the referees side

didnt think it was a red at the game but this confirms it was never a red and a very harsh one
still we will accept them all day long, we have had enough go against us this season

If he hadn't  made contact with Nicky Clee in the face with his arm the ref wouldn't have taken any action against Mr Lever. Mr Joyce was correct in sending off the player for Serious Foul Play.
