Bad weather. No one wants to go to Games on a Tuesday evening.
Be better if the club switches to Wednesday evenings for mid week games.
If they did the Droylesden game would have went ahead.

Why is Wednesday better than Tuesday or say Thursday  ???

Good question.  Thursday is a bit close to Saturday...injuries that need a couple of days to get over etc.  Wednesdays however are just as good as Tuesdays as far as I can tell.  Either way I can't go!

This is why promotion is so important. The money earned from former league clubs is too good to miss. If Wimbledon go down they will bring at least 400, Plymouth would be the biggest club ever to play in the BSP, they would bring at least 1000, Barnet is full of Arsenal and Tottenham fans but they would still bring more than most BSN clubs. I know i have said this before and got a few Peakes for it, but i still think midweek games should kick off at 3pm. People don't want to go out on a freezing wet night, especially when there is football on television.

We couldn't play midweek games at 3pm (except Bank Holidays) as most of our team have jobs during the day.

Because I have to work on Tuesday evening and I can't go.  :D
Historically in Scotland lower league teams always played their games on a Wednesday, and had
Higher attendances.

I should also add, Wednesday was half closing day for the shops and pubs.
So it was either football or watch corrie with the wife. (What would you choose)?
