Fantastic I will definately be there and get as many as I can down!  I love Alty and I love Thailand!!!

Surely we will get beat though??  The Thai side will be extremely skilfull and exceptionally fit!  Might book the next day off work and have a bit of a lash up on Tuesday come to think of it!

Will it be Alty Reserves or the first team. Im all for getting the extra income from the game, but i dont think we should have a first team playing incase we get injuries. Its a tough season as it is so surl we should keep the players rested untill he 19th Jan

I don't know, but I would suspect it will be the first team. I would think Graham will want the players to play together as much as possible to build up an understanding as quickly as possible.

Have channel M been informed about this? I'm sure they would be willing to film highlights of this one!

I can't imagine it would be too physical, imagine some poor little Thai striker getting a cruncher off Tinno!  Ha ha!

Thai team to train with Man City (January 04, 2008)

http://www.thaifootball.com/cgi-bin/news2/newsscript.pl?record=195

TOR CHITTINAND

Thailand will train with Manchester City for two weeks as part of their preparations for the World Cup qualification. Worawi Makudi, president of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT), said 29 players had been named to the World Cup squad who would have to report to the training camp next Monday.

The team will go to train with Manchester City for two weeks, likely to be from January 10-25. While in Manchester, Thailand will be supervised by City coach Sven-Goran Eriksson, Worawi said.

''The training will be like that for professionals and Eriksson will help look after the team,'' he said.

Thailand are grouped with Japan, Bahrain and Oman in the first group stage, or last 20 teams, of Asia's qualification for the 2010 World Cup.

The Thais will begin their campaign against Japan in Tokyo on February 6. The top two teams in each of the five groups advance to the final qualifying stage, or the last 10 teams.

Thailand coach Chanvit Phalajivin will fly to Japan from Manchester to watch Japan play against Chile and Bosnia in the Kirin Cup later this month.

You never said they were playing Oman.  Wow, No wonder they need some pre practise matches.

Kidding,  I'd go to see them.
