DJ was alty mom for me.

Atmosphere was dead.

At least we won, roll on York but we need to improve on our performance today otherwise we could see 4 go past us again.

I got home and wife said to me - "Who the hell scuffed your shoes, they look a right mess now".

I said it was this guy called Wayne, you will see him a lot on the local markets trying to cop off with all the opposition players mums !!!

Well it was my first day out for a week since daughter was born so even though it was a poor game there is always delight at beating the Slime.

Yeah, Vics were awful, they looked better when their old boys Steele and Allan came on at the end but we controlled the game really. Johnson and Young immense for us today. Good Alty following as the photo on official site shows, 3 points and a clean sheet, something we don't often do away from home so a good day all round

Thought we were really well organised today, mostly due to us reverting to Smith McGregor and Young at the back and I thought Johnson and Densmore were absolutely immense. Other than that, I felt that it was a poor performance from the lads and yet, despite the woeful long balls we dominated the game, which speaks volumes for Vics' situation.

Although we did put some good moves together and showed twice as much passion as them, we'll have to raise our game for York and New Years Day if we want to pick up more points.
