How many do you reckon we'll take? I estimate about 300 given the earlier kick off time.

I agree.

The lack of trains and the early kick off have killed it as a day out which will put some of the once a year gang off.

I agree withh 300.

I will be cycling there from Sale. Will take about 1 hour (about 17 miles)

Will be putting the bike in the car (driven by dad) when i get there at about 11am.

Will be going through Carrington, Lymm, High Leigh , Pickmere , Wincham.

The noon kick-off surely means that Steve King and his batch of Southern exiles must be spending most of Christmas Day in a hotel or rented accommodation in Northwich.

What a joyous prospect for them.

Steve King's hotel residency could see him become the Alan Partridge of the Blue Square Premier.

I am planning on walking from Chester. I suppose it's a bit late to get sponsored for it with funds going to the club.

So am I right in thinking that there are no trains or buses??

And to the guy who is cycling from Sale - is that a 17-mile round trip or one-way?

... and finally, has there been much trouble at this fixture in recent years, thinking of going with family but not sure what the atmos is going to be like.

cheers guys
