Typical, we come up against the other worst defence in the league (I have seen this team) and we have no forwards. And just when we need a 3 week freeze up we get the warmest Christmas on record. Anyone get a fog-making machine for Christmas?

Despite it all, 4-3 to Alty in front of 2,974. Don't ask me to name the scorers though!

I think we'll win, though God knows how.

It would be so Alty to win this with a patched up team.....but I'm afraid I can't fancy us.

We're bad enough with a full side so with all these players out I can't see anything other than a defeat.

1-3 Lawrie for us

Miller defo out and if Clee is then we'll struggle. If Clee plays then I feel a victory. Why do Alty always have so many injuries. No other way around it for training but I feel 3g pitches are not good for any players.

I don't think our physio is the best tbh

We no longer play as a team, one of the main things I liked about our squads over the last few years is the cohesion. I don't see that since NY ripped the heart of of what would have been a decent conference North team.

I think there is absolutely no question that we're down now. The one decent thing there is now left to do is try and sign up the half dozen or so players who could give us a reasonable shot of getting out of the Evostik next season.

I can't believe I'm embarrassed to mention Alty.

This is more than a crap team.

They'll still be people sat around with their heads up their arses though.

And appoint a manager capable of getting us back up providing the board want to get back up.

The first line sums it up for me,it really is embarrassing to admit being an Alty fan at the moment.

I just don't get it. We keep on repeating mistakes. When Sinnott went, handing over to Tolson didn't work but we do the same thing after sacking Harvey.... We're just going to keep sinking and sinking

I really would love to know who it was exactly who thought Scott Leather wasn't worth the few extra quid it would have taken to keep him - Young, Rowley, board consensus... Apparently he was at the Macc game in the week. We have no defence and no forward line. Truly incredible.

took my lad again to watch Alty...i had hopes we would turn this rot around..as i said to him on the way home this wouldn't have happened a couple of seasons back...FC weren't very good either..

the only bonus was i found an away kit in the £5 bin for him...im sure someone would have sold me the club for that!!

FC United of Moston were poor. But we are like some sort of bizarre charity - giving three points away to one and all.
Embarrassing.

Surprised at the number of away fans considering the trip. They'd have had more if it was a "home" game at one of their many rentagrounds.
