Loan signing!
« on: August 23, 2012, 06:58:27 PM »

Altrincham FC have signed midfielder Jake Moult (dob 10 February, 1989) on a 93-day loan from Alfreton Town. Jake, pictured right, is not new to Altrincham, having been a summer trialist in 2007, (as seen, right, at Abbey Hey). A midfielder, born in Stoke on Trent, he joined Alfreton on 1 July 2010.
Before his arrival at Alfreton, Jake had been with Stafford Rangers. His early career was with Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle.

Been waiting for a loan signing. Welcome back Jake :)

Good luck Jake. Anyone remember why we didn't keep him in '07? Seem to remember he was quite decent.

Prob because we were a conference team then and he was not quite at that level

Good luck anyway, hope he is better than last loan player from Alfreton

Welcome Jake, looks like he has always done well there but has fallen out with someone and is getting a rough deal.

Someone on their forum wrote:

"I find it difficult to laugh about the situation with Jake Moult. Jake has been a good asset to the club over several seasons now and I for one believe that our midfield would be a lot better with him in it.
I find it sad rather than funny that the club seem prepared to treat a player like this who has proven his worth to the club and is still a young player who proved many times last season that he has the ability to play at Conf Prem level.
To treat proven players like this and replace them with untried and unproven players is surely not the best way to move forward."

Welcome Jake..

He played one game at Abbey Hey.....looked very good.....then didn't make it for a 2nd trial game.

Delighted with this!
