BOXING DAY PREDICTION THREAD

This game will tell us a lot about our manager's ability to pick his best side, and then motivate them.

If we don't take six points from this match, and Saturday at Barrow, I honestly believe our visit to Gigg Lane next season will pit us against FCUM instead of Bury.

I take us to win 3-1, but I'm not hazarding a guess on the scorers.

The only thing I can predict is that they will be lively going forward, bit shakey at the back and I pray the same keeper starts that played against Boston for them.

As for us, I can't predict until I see the team.

We'll set up in standard 4-4-2, be losing 1-0 at HT, go the much better option of 3-4-3 in 2nd half and win 3-1.

Will the 'Worlds sh1ttest boyband' be present this year I wonder?

Whatever the score line we can hardly play worse than we did at home to Stalybridge last season. Also not to be a Jonah but it must be said that their record at our ground is even worse than ours at their place.

With all of the above in mind Im going 3-1 Alty in front of 1016.
