The figure of £500k has been mentioned a few times, so maybe not a complete guess

I would imagine there are clauses with extra if he gets x amount of appearances, p[lays for England & % of sell on fee etc

I do think its a guess by The Sun but maybe that could be the figure if there are a lot of milestones in the deal, like x on his debut, x on 50 appearances, x if an England Cap.

It won't be that initially though I'm sure as they will know they could get him for less and it would be Gerry Berman like negotiations to start at that figure.

As said before, I just think we have been so lucky that the deal has been done by Grahame Rowley and Duncs Dad as a club man rather than some agent creaming his cut off it all.

I wonder what they make of his pace!
