Cambridge team news from the BBC (ie may contain lies)
« on: September 07, 2009, 03:49:07 PM »

Cambridge boss Martin Ling has no new injury worries and is unlikely to change the side that thrashed Forest Green 7-0 on Saturday.

Lee Phillips could be on the bench after recovering from a knee injury.

Altrincham are without injured pair Scott Moffatt and Dale Johnson, while Shaun Densmore is suspended.

Chris Senior could feature on the bench, but Colin Little (ankle) is doubtful and Robbie Lawton and Michael Welch are long-term absentees.

That makes grim reading.. 7 players out due to injury and suspension.
Not good for an already thin squad.. Discipline is going to be the key this season lads, lets not give any silly bookings away.

We drew there at the end of last season, lets hope we can achieve the same result this time round

A point tonight would be most satisfactory..  Why the powers that be choose to have such a long journey for these mid week fixtures especially for the part time clubs is beyond me...

I bet they would do something about it if they had to travel that far then put in a shift the next day.

1 - 1 (Doughty pen)   would do me

Let's hope that they are sick of scoring after Saturday.
I reckon we could hold them until half time, but the second half will be tough!!
