That really did make me giggle.  Goodwin o'clock for you sir.

On a thread-related vein, what is the position on women playing in our league/the "mans" game? I always assumed it was a mans league, but someone said a long time ago there's nothing to stop a woman playing in our league?

I understand that the FA distinguishes mens and womens leagues from the age of 13.  Therefore it would be imposible for women to play in the BSP, mind you a good but contraversial question is how well would they do?  I think we would be a stronger team with the inclusion of some of the best womens players.

Don't be so stupid! Even the top level of Women's football is pretty gash compared to the men's game. For example the  Full England Ladies played Aldershot youth's team a couple of years ago and the Women were beaten 15-0 I think that tells you all you need to know about the poor standard of Women's football!

I am not sexist and actually would love to see a Women wearing an FGR shirt and it would be amazing publicity, but it will not happen, as Women are much less strong, but also have far worse balance than Men.

I'm sure that we've already covered this and probably ad nauseam at that.

Women are not as cardio vascularly strong as men and obviously the higher up the levels of athletic pursuit you go the more marked the difference.

However women, particularly at the higher levels of Womens Football tend to partially offset this by having superior technique.

You may claim not to be sexist but starting an argument with a statement that the top level of womens football is, as you so poetically put it,' pretty gash' does tend to cast some level of doubt on your claim.

Your opening gambit of "Don't be so stupid" also seems to me somewhat dismissive and I would love you to quote me the published scientific evidence that women have far worse balance than men. Perhaps you could let us all know who carried out this research, who their peer reviewers were and which journal(s) it was published in. If it was a PhD Thesis however just let us know who the candidate was and where the Doctorate was researched and I'll do the rest
Thank You

That shirt is skewing the results by weighing down one side.
