Hi...I'm a university studying non  league football and I'm compiling a list of clubs killed or nearly killed by the conference.

Can anyone expand on this list?

Maidstone
Newport County
Telford
Halifax
Scarboro
Dover
Margate
Canvey island
Farnboro
Slough
Boston
Northwich
Runcorn
Crawley

Runcorn weren't killed by the Conference, they were killed by the idiot who moved them out of Runcorn to a white elephant stadium across the river.

Bromsgrove Rovers? Promoted to Conference in 1992, 2nd to Wycombe in their 1st season, think they won the league cup twice and reached 3rd round of the FA Cup once and then relegation from the conference in 96-97 followed by freefall.
