I th I it shows how the forum has declined that my post count is so high yet not been on for years, that was from the early years when it was rocking with posts, and trust me those weren't always the good times

I'd happily run the forum, and I think there is life in the old dog yet, just think that some posts / posters should be deleted if they keep making a mockery of the site.  Also think a like button to like comments (not a Goodwin score) would make sense.
Gaz drop me a line if you'd like to,

I second this nomination .. would love to help but sadly don't have the time .

Gaz,
It looks as if the yes no to posts is a cumulative score of reactions to every post you have rather than that individual post, not sure if this is easily fixable?

I agree that liking posts is better than liking posters - i think most of my negative ones are from years ago when a Crawley fan on here objected to us having a pop at his club for going bust, not paying creditors like the local bus firm and then the following year having shed loads of cash!

Being able to tell what I'm saying that people think is bobbins is much more helpful then just giving me a generic dislike

I have no problems to keep paying for the forum.

My issue is I will not if it's hurting the club or tearing the fan base apart

This was created as a positive place and it seems that it's anything but that now.

I am all for freedom of speech but not for personal abuse that can only harm relationships within the club.

I got a Faceboom account setup so I could join a group that discussed all things St. Ambrose, especially after the court case. I then found a link to Rothes FC, my Highland League team and joined that too. One day I came to logon and Facebook wanted me to prove my ID by sending an email of my driving licence or other formal ID, which simply is not going to happen. So, if this forum moves to Facebook then I won't be on.

They are scams that have nothing to do with Facebook. Just to let you know. I have never had to send copies of my ID for anything to do with it.
