10 reasons to love Nick Butt
1. He is young and hungry2. He will get the media talking about the club again
3. He might tempt some young players in from Manchester United
4. He knows what it's like to win and can pass on that winning mentality.
5. He could bring Gary Neville out of retirement.
6. He won't be afraid to play attacking football
7. He has 39 England caps and bags of experience as a player
8. He is a big draw with United fans and this may boost our attendances.
9. He was described by Pele as "The best player in Englands 2002 world cup squad"
10.He might play some Cheshire Senior Cup games for a bit of a laugh.

i fit number 1.......

Just speculation. We spent all last week running through the list of current/recent ex pros who live around here that could be tempted to get the job.

I think Gary Lowe would've been a poor appointment for a club of our stature though he may do well at hyde.

At this time I think we need somebody with experience and knowledge of non-league, not an ex-pro straight out of the prem league.

Nicky Butt would resign after 4 games citing "personal reasons".

The novelty of having Mike Duxbury and Clayton Blackmore on the mausoleum would soon wear off.
