Superb scouting opportunity for both Alty and Macclesfield, might have a couple of quid on leek, I fancy them to get a result

Leek on a chilly November Tuesday evening will not be particularly enticing for Brackley methinks...in fact Leek on a chilly November Tuesday evening would not really be anybodies fixture of choice really would it?

I wonder when the last time was a club played away at leek then away at Macc in such a close period of time? Both grounds on the same road but a million miles apart in footballing terms

Chester City when they played at macc  in 1990 drew 1-1 at Leek in the FA Cup 2nd Round in December on a tues night. I can't remember if they had a home game on a saturday but they played the replay at Macc the following Tuesday.

Current BBC weather forecast for Leek says mist Tues pm then fog Tues evening. They could well be wrong - they usually are - but don't count on a Trophy game for us on Saturday just yet. Hope nobody's actually cancelled Gainsboro' at this point in time ...
