Their third and fourth goals at Easter were as clinical as you're likely to see at this level.

Young Eddy Jones was given a torrid time; I'm confident he's grown in stature in the space of these past few months.

Can't see Kaja starting in a game like this just yet, but if Jackson is fit then yes I agree I could see him playing on that flank.

Maybe time to give Marcus a bit of a rest and put Jordan up top again.

If you have not yet got tickets I wouldn’t hang about, there was another tranche released this afternoon and they are selling quick. And remember there is no pay on the day and it’s looking like we will sell out like last year, You can only get tickets from this link below, NOT the Wrexham
Website and NOT the Altrincham website

We got ours via the Wrexham website at the beginning of this month

Can’t see us coming back from this. Most interesting question at this point is will Brian Flynn be back for the second half!

Job's a good'un - no cards or injuries!

Mark my words, they are a club who could be challenging for a Premier League place in five or ten years, Even if Marriot and Kosylo and everyone had been available and playing well, plus the players people talk about signing with that 300k that was raised, we'd have likely still been up against it today. A brilliant overhead kick, for heaven's sake - when was the last time an Altrincham player did any sort of overhead kick?

By the way, what was going on in the background first half?

Sounds like they were just as clinical today as they were at Easter.

As much as I'd rather we weren't defeated by quite so many, our season won't be judged on today.

Excellent opportunity to get back at it on Tuesday night - and hopefully we'll put a fixture in for Saturday too.

I'm genuinely surprised as to why we keep playing Dinanga. We're basically playing with ten men.
Surely there's better options. Wrexhams weakness is their defence, the only way we would have any chance is to go hard at them. Not really possible with the team we put out today.

That always has been the case, is the case, and always will be the case. He’ll never be a footballer as long as I’ve got a hole……..

Goodness knows what PP sees in him.

I thought we were loads better than last year (same score line I know).  The difference for me was the two strikers, palmer and mullin.  take them out of the wrexham side and i dont think there was a difference.  Then again we havent got 8k each per week to spend on wages so its irrelevant.  Lads shouldnt be too down on themselves, kept going to the end.

Much better than last year, we looked quite good in patches. Mullin & Palmer the difference, oh and soft officials. Why do we have to wait when Tozer (I'm sure its spelled incorrectly  ::)) ambles over then has both feet over the line and one foot in the air. It's only a throw-in !  :'(

After what seemed an age to get there, I reckon we did ok but we are a little lacking once we cross the half way line, having said that Wrexham worked really hard closing down and with those strikers it was a matter of time before they scored, and what a goal it was. If only we could have gone in one down at HT but a lack of concentration and dwelling on the ball and they were in for the second and game over.
Onward to Tuesday and Wealdstone.
