Against us for Nantwich!

I'm sure we are all excited at seeing the legend again, and will be queuing up for autographs, and a chance to meet the legend himself.

Did ok in the one game he played for us against Eastbourne.

What a piss take that was. Where was he in the first half and throughout the rest of his career with us.

That second half was one of the most awful things I have ever experienced watching Alty. Felt totally numb throughout it and didn't even celebrate the goals. Even at 3-3 there was a horribly ominous feeling that we'd still cock it up. Rubbish!

First half, like IMHO far, far too much of his time with us, he was not being deployed where he should have been.
I was and remain to this day a steadfast supporter of Ken McKenna but sadly he missed a trick with Beesley who was a much much better player, when used properly, than we ever saw

I hate to be pedantic, but he wasn't actually on the pitch during the first half, he replaced Ryan Brown at half time.
;D

Guilty as charged.

Presumably ATS is claiming that Beesley was a much, much better player when deployed where he should have been i.e. on the pitch - it's certainly a point of view.....
-
We chucked him on the wing when he was best playing behind the strikers, if I can remember rightly? He's on the shortlist for the most non-existent Alty player award.

If he's as good as ATS says, why is he now at Nantwich?
