I have posted links to all the NLN Fan's Forums that I can find in the "Useful Links" Category.  Sometimes it is interesting/amusing to get the opposing fans perspective.

Brilliant idea-  thank you for this.

Have been trawling through the Guiseley Forum, given that they are our opponents this weekend, and that they are 3 miles from where I live, so long with Farsley - effectively my home town club, and I came across a heated exchange between Chester fans - apparently noted for regularly invading forums (so it isn't just home ends then!) - and Guiseley fans about perceived big time Charlie antics of Chester club and fans, and aggressive play and inappropriate chants of Guiseley fans.

First observation - Guiseley fans were apparently making sheep noises to Chester fans and telling them to get back to their sheep in Wales - this from a club that is virtually in the Yorkshire Dales!

Second observation - there were some pretty spot on comments about certain clubs that think they are bigger than they are and treat clubs like Guiseley like they are too good for them - then the following nugget -

'wish there were more clubs like Alty - now that's a proper club.'.

Made me reet proud - not least because a lot of supporters' rate us as a club.

Might be worth remembering this when some of us are doing sheep chants and singing songs about dirty people from Yorkshire this Saturday!

I like Guiseley. Decent place, never any bother. Yeah. Good club.

Think I have been to every match we have ever played at Guiseley and its spooky how we always manage to find a way not to win there, despite some dominant displays in recent years.  Wonder how many equalisers Guiseley have scored in injury time over the years against us.
